Welcome Fellow Hoggers! Marc Doporto and his nephew made a late arrival evening hunt Saturday 27th. I drove Steven to the west #5 blind and put Marc in the #2 blind.Steven called me about 11:30 and had a nice hog on the ground. It began to lightly rain so we called Marc and he asked us to pick him up. After cleaning their hog Marc decided to reschedule during the week because he had company at the house. He said the hogs came in from behind him and he heard their grunts. Good luck this week Marc!

Hello Fellow Hoggers,.......new season is off and running as Cecil Wood and Ron Mobley came to hunt Saturday August 12. Ron went on a stalk on the east end with his bow and evidently the hogs were just in front of him. He pushed them toward the caprock where Cecil had already headed. Cecil took 2 hogs as I had told him it was cool to take an extra this trip due to numbers.He came back on foot to get the truck and Ron and they arrived in time to see a pack of what I believe was "Kit Foxes" making dinner out of one hog. They grabbed the other and started draggin' it toward the truck and the fox were loping in guarded pursuit as if to say "where u goin with that?"..........you never know what to expect at Wilson Hilltop Ranch except success!.....Congratulations Cecil......I have a feeling Ron could have had a hog but being the seasoned sportsman he is, finds the outdoor experience his "Trophy"!....drive one home next time, Ron!
