Hello Fellow Pig-Stickers!: What a hog slamin' weekend this was. Lance Easley,Alex Aranda, Ector Lujan, and "camp-cook/pig skinner" Carlos Lujan had a ball and took home the bacon! Alex's 135# mud-packed boar and running head shot was exactly matched byLance's 135# "high-hackle" black boar. Ector's 55#boar required the most "effort" and tested both our endurance as we repeatedly had the hog "jump bullet" (really it was a combination of poor aim and defective equipment....not to mention it is hard to hit anything when you are breathing justifiably like a 50 year -old smoker(actually I am 48). I don't think Ector or I ever worked so hard for one hog! Multiple stalk attempts for this wounded hog resulted in almost 1/2 mile "jog". These guys gave each other a hard time all weekend with verbal"slams" while practicing good sportsmanship by helping each other with their game before the next one scored. Hope you guys can make it back soon!!!!!!!
